Kindergarten STEM Classroom
Parents are choosing American Legacy Academy because we provide a complete, balanced, and future-ready education.
At ALA, we use high-quality curriculum that lays a solid foundation for lifelong learning. Students learn how to think, question, explore, and apply knowledge—not just memorize facts.
Through our academic program, children grow into:
who analyze stories, explore new ideas, build vocabulary, and communicate clearly.
who understand mathematical concepts deeply, solve problems creatively, and explain their thinking.
who think independently, collaborate with peers, and persevere when challenges arise.
who investigate the world, ask important questions, and conduct hands-on experiments.
who safely navigate technology and use it as a tool for learning, creating, and leading.
Every subject is intentional.
Every lesson has purpose.
Every student receives personalized support to reach their full potential.
At ALA, we want every child to learn from teachers who are passionate experts in their subjects. That’s why all grade levels use a departmentalized model—a structure proven to strengthen learning and build student confidence.
Instead of one teacher trying to teach all four core subjects, your child will have:
Focused on reading, writing, vocabulary, literature, and social studies.
Focused on math, science, engineering, and hands-on problem-solving.
Your child learns reading and writing from a teacher who loves literacy, and math and science from a teacher who loves STEM.
Students move between two classrooms with consistent routines, clear expectations, and strong relationships.
Teachers work closely together, sharing insights and planning for the specific needs of each child.
Students feel confident changing classes while still enjoying the comfort and safety of familiar teachers and classmates.
Students learn independence, responsibility, and adaptability—skills that help them succeed in upper grades and beyond..
Every student has a Humanities Teacher and a STEM Teacher, and both teachers:
This model gives your child the best of both worlds: expert instruction and personal connection.
ALA is one of the few schools that makes daily physical fitness a core part of the school day. Students participate in 60 minutes of movement, exercise, and strength-building activities every day—all year long.
Physical wellness helps children:
Our year-round conditioning helps athletes stay:
Whether your child is already an athlete or just beginning to explore physical activity, ALA helps them discover the joy and power of movement.
Together, our academic and fitness programs create a whole-child approach that prepares students to Learn, Lead, and build a Legacy they can be proud of.
